No Long-Term Contract
Lessons are on-going and weekly (48 lessons/year schedule), and tuition is paid monthly or bi-weekly. Take lessons as long as you like. To withdraw from lessons just complete our withdrawal policy by the 3rd day of your final month.
Many Instruments & Lesson Times
You and your family can take guitar, piano, voice, drums, bass, and more! Knoxville Academy of Music has many instructors, giving you more options for scheduling and musical styles. For your convenience, we are open 7 days per week.
Private Music Lessons
One on one private music lessons offer many advantages for you. We offer guitar lessons, piano lessons, drum lessons, voice lessons & more. They provide for an individualized course of study to allow you to advance at your own pace.
Early Morning & Lunch time Lessons for Homeschoolers, Retirees, College Students and Working Professionals
Since we are the largest school in the state of Tennessee, we are able to be a 'full service' music school. This allows us to offer lessons as early as 10 a.m. and we see many students between the hours of 11 a.m.-2 p.m. If you are a home school parent, retiree, college student or working professional who has a flexible schedule, take advantage of our early morning and lunch time lesson spots

All of our instructors have formal music training and/or extensive performing experience, and have agreed to uphold our high standards of music instruction. Spacious Studios With Acoustic Treatment, and Top of the Line Virtual Classrooms
Often times, private music instruction takes place in tiny teaching studios. Knoxville Academy of Music’s private instructional studios are larger than average. All of our studios are large enough to accommodate a parent sitting in on lessons, and are furnished with iPads to assist in virtual learning. Additionally, our studios have acoustic treatment to improve sound quality within each room.
Awesome Free Make-Up Lessons
If you need to miss your lesson because you are sick, on vacation, or whatever, you can sign up for free group make-up lessons & request a recorded lesson.
Free Recitals
Many businesses charge extra for recitals, our recitals are always free for current clients. Your participation is optional, however, recitals are a great way for you to grow your talent. Your instructor will help you or your child prepare for any recital you sign up for. Knoxville Academy of Music will provide you at least two free recital opportunities each year. The recitals are held in front of a safe and encouraging audience full of students’ friends and family members.
